It’s no secret that the automotive industry is taking steps to adjust to the COVID-19 pandemic. As more and more show floors begin to reopen for business, Hyundai announced a new initiative called Clean Assurance, which is a set of guidelines that dealerships across the United States are required to follow to keep customers safe and healthy.
Clean Assurance is a combination of CDC-recommended social-distancing practices as well as strict cleaning procedures for employees. In order to ensure that every dealership is well-stocked with disinfectants, Hyundai partnered with Bioesque Solutions, a business that produces professional cleaning products. Alongside this, employees will receive detailed instructions on what to clean, how often, and with which cleaners.
In regards to the program, Barry Ratzlaff, Hyundai Motor America’s chief customer officer, said, “Hyundai Assurance is built on the foundation of America’s Best Warranty and represents the guiding principle behind everything we do. We want our customers and owners to know that we are reinforcing our commitment to prioritize their health in this new retail and service environment. It’s been a collaborative effort with our dealer body to develop training materials, guidelines, and digital and remote services.”
