The 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe is getting a new trim level called XRT that gives the SUV a new, bold appearance that looks right at home both on and off the road.
Based on the Santa Fe SEL with the Convenience package, the Santa Fe XRT trim is available on models powered by the 191-horsepower, 2.5-liter gasoline engine and is offered with or without the HTRAC® all-wheel-drive system.
The Santa Fe XRT is targeting outdoor enthusiasts and off-road adventurers by adding dark silver front and rear skid plates that protect the SUV, black roof side rails and cross rails that make it easier to carry outdoor gear and sporting equipment, and side steps that make it easier to get into the vehicle — or wipe your shoes after a muddy hike.
It also has several XRT-exclusive visual enhancements including a matte-black grille, 18-inch dark alloy wheels, black moldings for the door sides and lower bumpers, and black mirror covers. Though it’s intended to be driven off the asphalt, the Santa Fe XRT’s classy appearance enables it to fit in wherever it goes.
The 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT has already begun arriving at dealerships across the United States. Visit Tipton Hyundai in Brownsville, Texas, for a closer look at what could be your next ride.
